Little man C made his arrival to very happy parents, and a proud big sis! Family purchased a newborn session for them and I am so glad. Oooh he is so cute! He eats like a champ and apparently sleeps well too. But... not for pictures! He fought tooth and nail and never gave in. He got close, but even after hours of eating, warmth and snuggles nothing worked. But look at those eyes, I am so glad we see them!

I met up with T and C at Castlewood Canyon. How have I not been there before? I mean really, it is gorgeous and I am a native. Not acceptable. Let's just say I will be heading there again. What a perfect backdrop for this couple. They love nature, and REALLY love each other! One thing I loved was that C had both a promise ring and an engagement, both looking completely different. So glad she wore both so we could showcase them.

S and I have known each other for quite a long time, having grown up in the same church. It has also been wonderful to now know her as a mom! Her and her hubby are expecting baby girl number two in a few short weeks so her eldest and I headed to a beautiful area for a session. I have had a session like this in mind for months now and have been waiting for the right timing, person, everything to fall into place. I am SO happy it finally did!!

Many things went right with this session. Great looking family who are all incredibly photogenic, great sunlight, beautiful location! One thing made it even more fun, mommy is an old teammate of mine from a long time ago that I recently reconnected with! In celebration of their little girl's second birthday we headed to a beautiful area filled with color everywhere!
